Hyatt Regency Tokyo opened on September 15, 1980 as Japan's first Hyatt hotel, based on the philosophy of "bringing comfort to those who arrive and happiness to those who depart."
The hotel has 712 guest rooms, 5 restaurants and bars and 18 banquet rooms of various sizes to suit all occasions. The hotel is popular with domestic and international guests for business and leisure.

House Events

We hold a variety of events throughout the year

Summer Family Party The summer party is for staff and their families featuring a children's festival corner, stage events, and a lucky draw creating excitement and lasting memories.

Company Recreation We plan events to strengthen relationships within the company, transcending departmental boundaries.

Employee Appreciation Day Held on the Anniversary of the hotel opening day (September 15th), this is a chance for employees to "care" for each other and express their gratitude.

Since opening in 1980, Hyatt Regency Tokyo has been a landmark in Shinjuku, welcoming guests from Japan and around the world. Our iconic atrium, chandeliers, and longstanding reputation have been part of the city’s hospitality landscape for over four decades.

Job Type/Description

Pastry & Bakery Division
You will be working in the hotel bakery.
All bread will be served to guests for the hotel restaurant and parties.
Responsibilities include bread preparation, production, and new product development.
Western Cuisine
You will be responsible for preparation work from breakfast to dinner in the hotel’s restaurant.
This includes mise-en-place as well as final plating or finishing dishes in front of guests when required.
Banquet Kitchen
You will handle the preparation of Western-style set menus and buffet items for 18 banquet venues of various sizes.
Chinese Cuisine
Your main duties will be cooking in the Chinese restaurant.
Depending on the banquet requirements, you may also be involved in preparing large-volume Chinese dishes for events.
Food & Beverage Service Department
You will provide service to guests in each restaurant.
Depending on the outlet, operations may include breakfast service and late-night (midnight) service.
Banquet Service Division
You will provide service to guests in each restaurant.
Depending on the department, you may also be involved in breakfast and late-night operations.
Rooms Division
Your main duties will include handling check-in and check-out for individual and group guests, managing room reservations, and responding to phone inquiries.
You will also provide information both inside and outside the hotel and assist with luggage handling.
Housekeeping Division
You will be responsible for overlookig the guest rooms itself and the amenities along with duties including inspections after cleaning.
Room Sales Department
Your main duty will include sales of accommodation products to both domestic and international corporate clients along with travel agencies.
Other duties include handling sales for group reservations.
Banquet Sales Division
Your main duties will include sales of banquet products to corporate clients and travel agencies, as well as handling banquet reservations, meetings, and coordination tasks.
Marketing Department
Your main duties will include public relations and promotional activities, managing social media and digital content, and supporting events and special programs.

Work Hours: Variable hours system. 7.5 hours work, 1 hour break (8.5 hours work time). (Maximum 40 hours per week on average per month.) *The Front Desk Department may also work night shifts of 15 hours work, 2 hours break (17 hours work time).
